The Land Conservancy of NJ and the Jersey Cares organizations have brought corporate volunteers for the past 7 years to work on removing invasive species from the park, creating new gardens and planting NJ native plants, bushes, and trees.
Many of the corporate volunteers not only work locally but also live locally, and ask to work in the Grover Cleveland Park as part of their volunteer requirements.

Rutger Master Gardeners of Essex County works with volunteers to trim the Cherry Trees, remove invasive species from the park and plant New Jersey native plants and bushes.
