The Conservancy is purchasing 6 trees as described below. The price for each tree is the wholesale price that the Conservancy pays, and it includes the cost of planting, mulching, staking and arbor tying each tree. The trees are purchased from the Plant Detectives, purveyors of fine nursery stock, in Chester NJ and are planted by the NJ Tree Foundation.
You will also receive a certificate and a map donating the location of the tree.
Tree Type: Eastern Redbud
Description: Noted for its stunning pea-like rose-purple flowers which bloom profusely on bare branches in early spring before the foliage emerges.
Where the Tree will be Planted: Planted by the Brook next to the Bowers Bridge.
