Grover Cleveland Park Conservancy Announces New Officers and Trustees

Grover Cleveland Park Conservancy Celebrates 25th Anniversary and Welcomes New Board of Trustees

CALDWELL, N.J. — The Grover Cleveland Park Conservancy is proud to announce the celebration of its 25th Anniversary, marking a quarter century of dedicated stewardship, community engagement, and preservation of one of the region’s most treasured public green spaces. As part of this milestone year, the Conservancy has elected a new Board of Trustees in January, bringing fresh leadership and continued commitment to the organization’s mission.

Three new members have joined the Board of Trustees, each bringing valuable expertise and community ties to the Conservancy. Lesley Nicolucci of Caldwell has been appointed as Treasurer, bringing financial leadership to the organization’s operations. Robert Cowper of Caldwell will head up Volunteer Outreach, helping to expand the Conservancy’s community involvement and grassroots engagement. Stephen Papageorge of North Caldwell will support the Programming and Projects Committee, contributing to the development and execution of Conservancy events and initiatives.

The full 2026 Board of Trustees includes: Mark Brodie (President, West Caldwell), Rob Thieman (Vice President, West Caldwell), Jenifer Barget (Secretary, Caldwell), Lesley Nicolucci (Treasurer, Caldwell), Mary Davidson (West Caldwell), Kristen Kelly (Caldwell), Corey Franco (North Caldwell), Robert Cowper (Caldwell), and Stephen Papageorge (North Caldwell).

Some of the projects under consideration include:

  • Outreach to community groups and companies for volunteer days (April 25th 2026)
  • Repair of Dam

Board of Trustees meetings and held on the third Thursday of the month at 7PM in the Pond House.
