As millions of people celebrate generosity worldwide on #GivingTuesday, we welcome you to join the movement and start by giving in your own backyard.
Grover Cleveland Park has come a long way since the Conservancy’s inception in 2001. To fulfill our mission for the restoration, maintenance, and enhancement of Grover Cleveland Park, we’ve created a safer playground for our children, refurbished some of the trails through the woods, and have begun to replace the more than 200 trees that have been died or been destroyed in recent storms.
Just in 2017, the Conservancy has, with your help, planted:
6 new Linden trees in Linden Allée
3 new Dogwood trees at the end of Linden Allée to provide a spot of color and interest for all
2 new Dogwood and 2 new Holly trees in the triangle by the Bowers Road entrance to add color and interest and prevent additional soil erosion
2 new Holly Trees in the Buttonwood Road parking lot to add year-round color and a winter food source for local birds
We are so thankful for all of our community members that show their support by giving their time and dollars. Every act of generosity counts, and each means even more when we give together.
The Conservancy urges you to help create a better community by joining #GivingTuesday. You are the most important part of this movement, and our members are vital to the Park’s success.
